Hi @menino619,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you want to connect your HP 2332 printer to your MacBook without using WiFi or Ethernet, you can consider using a USB connection. Here's a step-by-step guide.

Check for USB Port on the Printer:

  • Ensure that your HP 2332 printer has a USB port. Most printers come with a USB port for direct connection.

Get a USB Cable:

  • Purchase a USB cable that is compatible with your printer. The HP 2332 printer typically uses a standard USB Type-B connector for the printer side and a USB Type-A connector for the computer side.

Turn off the Printer and MacBook:

  • Turn off both the printer and your MacBook.

Connect the USB Cable:

  • Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the back or side of the HP 2332 printer.
  • Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your MacBook.

Power On the Devices:

  • Turn on your HP 2332 printer.
  • Turn on your MacBook.

Install Printer Drivers (if necessary):

  • Your MacBook may automatically recognize the printer and install the necessary drivers. If not, you might need to install the drivers manually. Visit the HP website and download the latest printer drivers compatible with your macOS version.

Configure the Printer:

  • Open "System Preferences" on your MacBook.
  • Go to "Printers & Scanners."
  • Click the '+' button to add a new printer.
  • Your HP 2332 should appear in the list. Select it and click "Add."

Print a Test Page:

  • To ensure that the connection is successful, try printing a test page. If it prints without issues, your HP 2332 printer is successfully connected to your MacBook via USB.

Keep in mind that this method offers a direct, physical connection between your MacBook and the printer. If you plan to use the printer frequently, consider the convenience and mobility aspects of a wireless connection in the future.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
