Hp 3630 USB no connection

If you're facing issues with USB connectivity on your HP DeskJet 3630 printer, try the following steps:

 

Check the USB Cable Connection:

  • Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
  • Try using a different USB port on your computer to rule out a faulty port.
  • Ensure the USB cable is not damaged. If possible, test with a different cable.

 

Restart Your Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and computer.
  • Disconnect the USB cable.
  • Reconnect the cable and turn on both devices to see if the connection is established.

 

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Search for your HP DeskJet 3630 model and download the latest drivers.
  • Install the drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Check Device Manager:

  • On your computer, open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Start menu).
  • Look for the printer in the list of devices. If it’s marked with an error symbol, right-click and select “Update driver.”
  • If the printer is not listed, try connecting it to another computer to see if it gets recognized.

 

Verify Printer Status:

  • Ensure your printer is turned on and has no error lights or messages displayed.
  • Check for any paper jams or ink cartridge issues, as these can sometimes affect connectivity.

 

USB Troubleshooter:

  • Use Windows built-in USB troubleshooter to detect and fix common USB problems.
  • Search for "Troubleshoot" in the Start menu and select "Additional troubleshooters."
  • Look for and run the “USB” or "Printer" troubleshooter.

 

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve most USB connection issues with your HP DeskJet 3630.
