HP Envy 6530e All-in-One Printer

The screen on my computer is showing a small window with the heading " HP Smart Printing" Below is my printer picture stating HP Envy 6500e series [AD59B6]. Below that are two images;  My Printers and Ready to Print. Below that is a line of print saying Private Pickup but appears to be off. At the bottom are two smaller windows: (Change Printer) and (Send to Private Pickup), white letters in a blue window. Please help.

Welcome to the HP Community --

OK - It appears you have two posts -- possibly related.

In spite of your excellent description,

I think I cannot quite visualize what you are seeing.

Added to my answer for "Private Pickup" in your other post, perhaps the following will help sort what is going on...

==================================

HP Smart Printing / HP Universal Printing

For those reading:

"HP Smart Printing" is an intelligent print job driver that works with various applications and software to assist in job configuration by preventing job setup conflicts (paper, type, content, borderless, "job stuff").

"HP Smart Printing" and its counterpart "HP Universal Printing" are essentially the same driver and are both printer model dependent.

One of the more brilliant aspects of HP Smart Printing / HP Universal Printing is the support for Presets / Shortcuts.  While some programs tie into Printing Preferences and support "Shortcuts" and Custom Shortcuts, HP App / HP Smart does not, on its own, support the concept of Presets / Custom Presets (Shortcuts) or setting Custom Paper size.

Reminder

Use of either of these drivers is entirely optional -- If you don't want it, don't select it.

==================================

Continuing...

Your description does not include the type of content you are printing --

That detail matters less than how / where you are selecting the Printer / Driver.

Below is a general example of using Adobe Reader to open a PDF file and to print that file with the HP Smart Printing driver.

Note that there are two types of selections within the setup:

Adobe Reader - Print menu - Printer > HP Smart Printing (driver)

Properties > Opens HP Smart Printing >

(Preferred) Printer = Select the printer hardware -- the printer to handle to driver setup

General Example - Adobe Reader - PDF print - HP Smart Printing driver

General Example - HP App / HP Smart - Windows - Simple Photo Print - HP Smart Printing driver
