Good day. Thank you for taking an interest in the HP support forums. I will be happy to assist you here.

  • Did this occur after a power outage or surge?

Let's try these steps:

Now check if the issue gets fixed. If it continues, then the printer needs to be replaced. I am being honest about it here by keeping your best interest in mind.

I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.

Thank you    My printter is out of warranty   I will probably need to buy a new one

Cost more to have fixed  than to buy a new one
