I have a HP Office Jet Pro L7580 printer that is displaying a false "paper jam".  I have removed all paper, including any residual pieces from both the front and back of the printer, including rollers, and sprockets, and still have the "paper jam" displaying on the screen.  I cannot print or copy with this machine.  It will not perform a self-test print, or any other function.  It will only display the "paper jam" on the screen.  This printer is not wireless, but is connected via usb to my laptop with Windows 7 software.  What further steps if any can I perform to alleviate this problem?

@Buster221, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document A 'Paper Jam' Message Displays for HP Officejet Pro L7300, L7500, L7600, and L7700 All-in-One Printe... and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
