Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It seems like your printer is properly set up for Windows but not yet configured for mobile printing.
Let’s ensure your HP 3520 Inkjet printer is ready to work with your Samsung phone:
Steps to Enable Mobile Printing:
Ensure the Printer Supports Mobile Printing:
The HP 3520 is compatible with HP ePrint and possibly Wi-Fi Direct. These features let you print from your phone. Make sure they are enabled on the printer.
Connect to the Same Network:
Ensure your Samsung phone and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If you're using Wi-Fi Direct, ensure your phone is connected directly to the printer's Wi-Fi Direct signal.
Download the HP Smart App:
Open the Google Play Store on your Samsung phone and download the HP Smart App.
Launch the app and follow the steps to add your HP 3520 printer.
Enable Web Services on the Printer:
If your printer supports HP ePrint, go to the printer’s control panel and enable Web Services. This allows the printer to be accessible for mobile printing.
Install Printer Plug-in on Samsung:
Go to the Google Play Store, search for "HP Print Service Plugin," and install it. Enable the plugin once installed by going to your phone's Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Printing.
Print From Your Phone:
Open the file or image you want to print on your Samsung phone.
Tap the three-dot menu or share option, then select “Print” and choose your HP 3520 as the printer.
Test with Wi-Fi Direct (If Needed):
On your HP 3520, check the control panel to enable Wi-Fi Direct.
On your Samsung phone, connect to the printer's Wi-Fi Direct network, which usually appears as something like "DIRECT-HP-3520."
Try printing directly while connected to the printer.
