I need a driver that is compatible with the Mac M1 chip. I tried to print with my HP deskjet f4500 via USB, but an error occured. It says that I'm 'missing usb class driver'.

I understand you are looking for a printer driver.

This printer is not AirPrint compatible and has no printer driver available on the HP Support site to work on macOS 10.15

This printer does not support the HP Smart app too.

For more info on this issue, refer to this document. 

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
