Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:

 

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.

Thank you for your idea. I tried your solution and my printer HP Deskjet 841C was not included in the Windows Update. If you have any other ideas, I would appreciate hearing them. Alternatively, I really wish HP would support their equipment that still works - such as my printer. There is nothing wrong with my printer and I believe it is extremely wasteful to dispose of it while it still works just as well as when I bought it. I would have thought HP would be proud of developing and manufacturing such fine printers - but I guess not. Again, thank you Betty0610, I really appreciate your effort!

I understand and I will put this across to our development team. Unfortunately, these are the only drivers that are available.
