If you're receiving the message "This invitation is no longer valid" on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 printer, you may need to generate a new invitation code to continue using the printer's web services. Here's how to do it:

On the printer control panel, touch the "HP ePrint" or "Web Services" icon.
If prompted, select "Turn on" or "Enable" to activate web services.
Select "Display Email Address" or "Print Info Sheet" to print a page with your printer's email address and an invite code.
If the invite code has expired or is no longer working, touch "Settings," "HP ePrint," and then "Print Info Page" to generate a new invite code.
Follow the instructions on the screen to register your printer and create a new invitation code.
If you're still having issues generating a new invite code, you can contact HP support for further assistance.

Thank you so much for that information - I will keep that in case I need it again.

I’ve also had a reply from HP to advise the following:

. I have checked our concern about using the browser Internet Explorer to sign in to your account, and was advised that it is no longer supported, as they already transferred to Microsoft Edge. You can use this browser as well as Google or Chrome.
