@None125, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP ENVY 6020e Connectivity Options!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer should work via both USB and wireless connections. Since your internet is down and the printer is not functioning on USB, you can try the following steps:

Ensure Proper USB Connection

Check USB Cable and Ports:

  • Verify that the USB cable is properly connected to both the printer and the computer.
  • Try using a different USB port on the computer.
  • If available, use a different USB cable to rule out any cable issues.

Install/Update Drivers:

Reset and Configure Printer

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn on the printer.

Add Printer Manually:

  • On your computer, go to the Control Panel and then to Devices and Printers.
  • Click on "Add a printer" and follow the instructions to manually add the HP ENVY 6020e.

Troubleshooting via HP Smart App

  1. Using HP Smart App:
    • If you have the HP Smart app installed, open it and check if it detects the printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions for USB setup.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
