Hello 

I am trying to check the warranty status of a faulty HD, but the system does not recognise the serial number, and so I just keep getting sent round in a circle, and cannot seem to get to speak to an advisor.

The label on the HD clearly states the serial number, and I have copied it repeatedly ensuring there are no mistakes.

A faulty hard drive from an HP computer is warranted based on an HP computer serial number, not a hard drive serial number.
