HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 Printer M602x
Linux

I recently bought a secondhand Laserjet M602 for some printing projects, and so far it has been really excellent, printing locally or over Ethernet, handling different paper types, and running duplex jobs on A5 size paper (though not A5 cardstock).

The main computer on which I'm developing the projects is running Debian 12, which is extremely convenient (and free!) since the development is being done almost exclusively in LaTeX and Lilypond.  I am able to print from the Debian machine with satisfactory results, and can access all essential printing options.

HOWEVER, in test prints from different computers, I found that on Windows computers (with HP's basic downloadable drivers, if memory serves) I have an additional quality option to choose under the "ProRes 1200" quality setting: either 180lpi or a smaller number, something like 128lpi.  I have noticed that while printing at ProRes 1200 from Debian is good enough, selecting ProRes 1200/180lpi on Windows makes the printing pop just a bit more, enough to make it worth the trouble of copying my documents over and printing them from Windows.

Is there a way to access this additional option under Debian, or is it to be expected that that this additional print option is available on Windows only?
