Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

LaserJet Pro M118dw will only print envelopes oriented on the left of the manual feed tray.  I am unable to use the manual feed sliders to help align the envelope as the sliders only adjust from both sides towards the middle of the manual feed tray.  The only solution we have found is to open the sliders all the way up, position the envelope on the far left, and hold the envelope in place so it hopefully feeds straight.  We updated firmware and drivers which has not fixed the issue.

It seems like we either need a new driver/firmware that allows for envelopes to print with using the manual feed sliders in the center or we need new sliders that adjust only on the right so the envelope can feed straight without holding it in place.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
