Hi @Dave1911

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

To reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e and recover from a lost username and password, you can follow these steps:

  1. Restore Factory Settings:
    • From the printer control panel, tap the Setup or Settings icon (which may look like a gear).
    • Go to Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
    • Confirm the reset. This will reset all printer settings, including network settings and admin credentials.
  2. Reconnect the Printer:
    • Once the reset is complete, you’ll need to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
    • Use the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone to go through the setup process, where you can assign a new username and password if needed.
  3. Re-Enable Web Services (Optional):
    • If you had HP ePrint or any web services enabled, go to Setup > HP Web Services and turn them on again.

This reset should allow you to reconfigure your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e as if it were new.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
