Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer has been printing the message off and on for a couple of months every two or three hours.  I finally shut it off between uses to save paper.   Today it quit letting me use the scanner to input data into my computer.  If this keeps up I have a real nice 5 lb sledge hammer and I will turn this piece of crap into a real nice pile of broken plastic and glass, Put it into a nice postal priority Mail box and send it to you.  This printer has worked flawlessly for years until some IDIOT HP Software engineer thought he could make a better driver.  Now there are a whole bunch of us out here that have this Message:

GET /DevMgmt/ ProduceStatusDyn.xml HTTP/1.1

HOST: localhost

Get /cdm/system/v1/status HTTP/1.1

HOST: localhost

being printed on their printer.   HP software won't recognize my D110a PRINTER so I can download a new driver.  My windows 10 has been updated to latest updates.   I do not want my printer to be on WIFI.  i is hooked up with a USB CABLE.  THAT IS THE WAY i WANT IT AND HP BUILT IT THAT WAY SO i COULD DO IT.   So some good product manager needs to crack the whip up there and get all of us back to normal.  PLEASE!!!!!!

I got an email on 9/4 saying that I would get a private message with steps to talk to HP support. Well, I never got that message.  I have tried but I am unable to connect via Wi-Fi so am unsure if that will even work. It does not appear that there is ANY support for this problem. Is this just a ploy for me to buy a new printer? If so, it most definitely will not be an HP.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I got an email today saying that I received a private message from you, but I got this response when trying to access. "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action." Is there another way to view the private message you sent me? FYI: I never got a private message as you stated below but I kept uploading the drivers and it looks like they finally got it right.

Dpeters231, my mother just started experiencing this same problem. I'm excited to read that you believe that some set of driver updates fixed the problem. Can you share with us which drivers you uploaded/updated?

Thank you!

The problem is with the HP Smart software. I have an HP D110 and it was having the same issue. I uninstalled the HP Smart software and relied solely on the HP printer driver. The messaging is now gone.
