When I use manual duplex printing, the printer do not wait after the first pass write for the user to move papers to the tray.
This is a new behaviour for I do not know how long. I reinstalled Windows 10 some time ago perhaps then...
Is there some way to revert to the old behavour, waiting for the user to confirm with 'ok' that the first pass papers have been moved to the tray?

I have managed to solve this issue. Unfortunately I can not revert to the not working state.. How ever this is what I did:
+ Enter "Devices and Printers"
+ Right click printer and enter "Printer properties"
-+ Under tab "Device Settings". Ensure:
-- Allow Manual Duplexing: Enabled
-- Job Separator: Enabled
-- Printer Status Notification: Enabled
Then it works.
However, when I disable the above it still works, so I not completely sure this is sufficient. Perhaps I changed some other setting on my way that I do not remember.

Hello, @TomasForssen – Hope you are well 🙂
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
Going through your post, I see that you are facing issues with the printer. Let’s first try and reinstall the drivers as suggested below:
- Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer, if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and Features – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Restart your computer.
- Now, go to HP LaserJet Pro CP1525n Color Printer and enter the printer model number to download and install the printer drivers.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
If the issue persists, then try to install the printer using the Windows driver update.
First, open Windows Device Installation Settings and confirm that your computer is set to automatically download driver software.
- Search Windows for Change Device Installation, and then click the Change device installation settings Control Panel setting in the list of results.
- Device Installation Settings window displays.
- Select the Yes option, and then click Save Changes.
Now, follow the steps listed under step 3 here: http://hp.care/2oSqtTW
Let me know how that goes!
Good luck 🙂

Thanks for the reply. However the problem is still there.
As suggested, I removed the printer and reinstalled it using the Windows driver update approach.
It is a network printer connected to my LAN. From the Windows Print Test Page I can find:
Driver Name: HP LaserJet Professional CP1520 Series PCL 6
Driver Type: Type 3 - User Mode
Driver Version: 61.103.21.8726
I have always connected to the printer via LAN. When printing Duplex I get the information window about moving the papers to the tray and "if the printer not automatically continues press the OK button". But, the printer continues automatically before I have a chance to stop it. The only solution now is to fill the tray with the right numbers of blank papers.
I can connect the the printer settings using the web interface. I would suspect there is a check box or similar among the printer settings for me to change. I just don't know which one...
I have a great printer and it works flawless in all other aspects. Any suggestions solving this duplex issue would be great.
