Hello everyone.

I set up my new laser jet MFP M140w printer yesterday. I eventually connected through the HP Smart app. I did do some printing, then turned the printer off.

NOW it WON'T RECONNECT TO WI FI

My Smart app recognises the printer, says ot's still available but not connected.

When I try to print a doc from my computer, the print tab shows the name of the printer I want to print to but it says 'not connected'.

There is no written display only buttons, including wifi, power and an X.  I've tried many combinations but essentially I'm left with a power light and a flashing blue wifi icon on the 'minimal' panel.

I've gone around a million circles. Some info says blue light should be still not flashing whilst video support says it Should be flashing!

Mine is flashing. Why am I not connected???

  • I have set up my HP LASER JET MFP M140w printer. I printed stuff yesterday. Now I've turned it on and can't reconnect to wifi.  Smart App and my computer recognises the printer model but both say that it's not connected. There is no worded display panel, only buttons. I  have my power button on and a flashing blue light. Why am I not connected??
  • Please help...anyone. i've been strugglimg for 5 hours
