My touchscreen is distorted (happened a few months ago). Have been able to use the app to get by doing things I would have previously done on the touchscreen (such as scan to printer). Had to update my router today, though, and need to reconnect printer to WiFi. Since I can't read the screens, I can't make the right choices or even know if/when to enter the password, etc. Hoping someone can walk me through the screens to get the printer re-connected to my home network.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
Let me know if this helps.

Did not work. I can not do a hard line connection from my network to the printer. Need to do it wirelessly, but can't set up to the new router because I can't read the touch screen. (and therefore obviously unable to do a firmware update either). I can "kind of" read the screens to the point that if I had screenshots of what each screen would say as I go through the wireless setup, I could probably make it happen, then could control through the app/computer, but without help on the screen issue, the printer is just a large desktop brick.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
Please do check your inbox on the communities page for the private message.
