HP Recommended

Printer has been factory reset and passwords cleared from the Bios menu on the printer but it still requires a password when trying to access via the IP address on the network. Any ideas?

Have you performed a partial clean on the device? This is done through the preboot menu. The password on the Embedded Web Server is cleared when you perform the clean.

This unfortunately hasn't worked. The web server is still "unauthorized".

Would there be any way to unlock it from the previous user? We've tried the cold reset, and factory reset.
