@golfpro69, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer is stuck on the HP logo screen, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Disconnect and Reconnect:
- Make sure the printer is completely turned off.
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer and check if it progresses past the HP logo.
Reset the Printer:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Check for Hardware Issues:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
- Open all compartments, remove and reinsert the ink cartridges and paper trays.
Network and Connection Check:
- Make sure there's no issue with the wireless network connection.
- You can attempt to connect the printer directly to a computer with a USB cable to see if that changes the behavior.
Firmware Update:
- If the printer starts properly after a reset, check for any available firmware updates through the printer's software or HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
