@golfpro69, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer is stuck on the HP logo screen, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Disconnect and Reconnect:

  • Make sure the printer is completely turned off.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer and check if it progresses past the HP logo.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
  • Open all compartments, remove and reinsert the ink cartridges and paper trays.

Network and Connection Check:

  • Make sure there's no issue with the wireless network connection.
  • You can attempt to connect the printer directly to a computer with a USB cable to see if that changes the behavior.

Firmware Update:

  • If the printer starts properly after a reset, check for any available firmware updates through the printer's software or HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
