My printer says it won't work unless I'm signed up for Instant Ink. But I am signed up for that rip off program and have been for years. The virtual assistant is useless and the phone number won't go through. 

I'll never buy HP again. hP Sucks

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.
