My setup black cartridge was empty & I inserted a new HP 923 black cartridge &now I get the "Use Setup cartridges that came with your printer". How do I bypass this message

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

 

I regret the inconvenience caused to you, as the printer is asking for setup cartridges.

 

 

Not to worry, let me help you with a few steps that have proven to resolve this issue.

 

Check the cartridge labels and make sure the cartridges are seated properly in the carriage.

 

Turn on the printer, and then open the door or lid to the cartridge access area.

 

Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.

 

Push in the tab on a cartridge, and then lift it out of the slot.

 

Reinsert the cartridge into its color-coded slot, and then press down on it until it snaps into place.

 

Repeat these steps to remove and reinsert the other cartridges.

 

Close the door or lid to the cartridge access area.
