Product: HP Photosmart C5550 Printer

Please, need help with downloading the installation software for a HP Photosmart C5550 Printer.  HP no longer supports this printer.  I am 84 years old and not very good with computers.  I checked EBAY for the installation  disk but none available,  Thank you

Since it is an older product, you can install it via Windows.

Tried the methods to download the HP C5550 printer to my computer and the message I receive is:  "Driver is unavailable".

 

Does this mean I won't be able to ever use this printer with my computer?

Unfortunately, the driver is not actually available. The one I sent you was the one for Windows.

 

If it still won't install, what you can do is use it on a slightly older system or previous versions.
