My printer indicates 303 ink but I'm using it in the US so need to use 64 instead. Will a region reset make this possible? It now shows that the64 ink is incompatible.

Hi @krava1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Yes, a region reset (also called regionalization reset) is exactly what you need to make your HP ENVY Photo 6230 All-in-One Printer accept 64 ink cartridges in the U.S., if it originally used 303 cartridges (which are for Europe and other regions).
Please note: Regional Reset is performed on a best effort basis, and it can be tried only once.
If you have the ink in the 303 cartridge, please use it fully because once you perform the regional reset, this cartridge will no longer work.
To perform a printer region reset, you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer's full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it.
4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed, too.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
