Printer not heavily used, but was fine the last time it was used. Last attempt to print to it resulted in the output being stuck in the queue. Printer showed as offline. Unable to bring online. Tried many of the commonly suggested remedies to no avail. I believe that it needs to be uninstalled/reinstalled.

please try these documents:
- Print jobs stuck in print queue (Windows, macOS)
- HP printer is offline or not responding (Windows, macOS)
If the issue persists you may try to uninstall the software:
Uninstall HP printer software and drivers
