HP Smart Tank 795 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought a Brand new Hp Smart Tank 795 was able to finish the entire set up process, but after couple of minutes, LCD Screen has been stuck to "The HP Software is setting up your computer". I let it sit for a couple of hours and it's still no done. I tried to restart, power off and remove power cord while on, still the same, almost 10 hours in now.

How can this be fixed? Thank you.

Hi @ABDM,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Restore an HP Smart Tank printer to factory defaults and set up the printer using the HP Smart app.

From the left side of the printer, lift the ink access door.

On the printer control panel, press the Information button for three seconds.

All buttons on the control panel light up.

Press the Information button and the Cancel button until 00 displays and the Wi-Fi button blinks.

Lower the ink access door.

Wait for 30 seconds.

Press the Power button or disconnect the power cable to turn off the printer.

Turn on the printer, and then wait until the Wi-Fi button blinks and Wi-Fi icon on the printer display cycles.

The printer enters into Wireless Setup Mode.

Open the HP Smart app, add the printer, and then follow the prompts to complete the printer setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
