Given I can't even select MACos 15 from the Operating System choices for the posting, I take it that there are no drivers for the Deskjet 3000 on MACos. I'm moving from Windows 10 where the Deskjet 3000 printer worked. Disappointed at the narrow band of MACos releases HP seems to be supporting.
Can someone confirm and yes I've gone through all the driver options under support including downloading the last driver package for MACos that MACos 15 would not install
Thanks

For those who come later, I did get this to work.
Somewhere in the many steps I had, a large number of HP drivers were downloaded. I found a HP3000 Driver for the J310 model. I have the J210 model but I tried in anyway and it worked.

Hi @DS256
1. Connect your printer with USB cable
2. Then try to install with the next driver for Mac:

Thanks. I was able to unzip and run the app but I got stuck on this screen. It us looking for specific input which appears to be a single alphabetic letter. I've tried Y and N which it didn't like. I can't progress further.
Interestingly, this comes after it says it has installed the drivers but the HP 3000 does not appear in any MACos Printer listings.

Some additional information.
I had the MAC add the printer which it found. I was then able to get into the HP Desktop and select print Test Page but nothing was printed. Looking at the device information it listed the driver as "HP Inkjet 9 Driver 2.18.0"
So, looks like HP has dropped support for the HP 3000 on MACos at least for the Apple Silicon ones.

Since I'm not experiencing the issues the reset corrects, and given I also had problems with other Epson printers and scanners already defined, I'm afraid I'm not willing to rebuild my list.
Frankly, there is nothing to indicate that the HP3000 Deskjet is supported under MACos 15 on Apple Silicon.

Ok, if there is nothing more to do, it´s ok.
Only hoping that next MacOS system version fixes all those issues with printers and scanners.
