I am not being allowed to uninstall HP Photo Envy 7800 software.

No matter what I do.

None of the windows instructions or HP Help or Community apply.

If you are having trouble uninstalling the HP Photo Envy 7800 software from your computer, you can try the following methods to ensure a complete removal:

 

Method 1: Use HP Uninstaller (Mac)

  1. Use the HP Uninstaller:
    • Navigate to the Applications folder on your Mac.
    • Open the HP or Hewlett-Packard folder.
    • Double-click the HP Uninstaller.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the HP Photo Envy 7800 software.

Method 2: Use Control Panel (Windows)

  1. Uninstall via Control Panel:
    • Open the Control Panel on your Windows computer.
    • Click on Programs and Features (or Add or Remove Programs).
    • Locate the HP Photo Envy 7800 software in the list.
    • Select it and click on Uninstall.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation.

Method 3: Use HP Easy Start

  1. Use HP Easy Start:
    • Download and install the HP Easy Start tool from the HP Support website.
    • Open HP Easy Start and select Uninstall HP Software.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the software.

Method 4: Manual Removal

Remove Files Manually (Mac):

  • Go to the Applications folder and drag the HP Photo Envy 7800 software to the Trash.
  • Open Finder and press Cmd + Shift + G to open the Go to Folder dialog.
  • Type /Library and press Enter.
  • Navigate to the following folders and delete any HP-related files:
    • Application Support
    • Caches
    • Preferences
  • Empty the Trash and restart your computer.

Remove Files Manually (Windows):

  • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86).
  • Delete any folders related to HP Photo Envy 7800.
  • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type regedit, and press Enter.
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE.
  • Delete any HP-related keys.
  • Restart your computer.

Method 5: Use Third-Party Uninstaller

  1. Use a Third-Party Uninstaller:
    • Download and install a third-party uninstaller tool like Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or AppCleaner (Mac).
    • Use the tool to remove the HP Photo Envy 7800 software and any associated files and registry entries.

Method 6: Safe Mode (Windows)

  1. Uninstall in Safe Mode:
    • Restart your computer and boot into Safe Mode.
    • Open Control Panel and try uninstalling the software again.

Method 7: HP Support Assistance

Contact HP Support:

  • If you are still unable to uninstall the software, contact HP phone Support for assistance.
  • They can provide instructions via remote assistance.
