My printer is an HP Photosmart e-All-in-one D110 series. I'm not sure how old it is, but I've had it for several years, at least 6 or 7. I just bought a new computer, a Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6. I'm trying to make the printer work with it. It seemed to connect fine, but it only prints black, no color. I tried a simple Google search for a driver, but couldn't find one. I still have the installation software, but it's a CD, and the new computer doesn't have a CD deck. I really like this printer. It has served me well for a long time, there's nothing wrong with it, and I recently bought plenty of extra ink. I really hope I don't have to replace it, but being able to print in color is an absolute necessity. Bonus points if anyone can make the scanner work too. (I haven't tested the scan feature yet since I got the new computer.) Does anyone know if it's possible? Or is my printer just too old?

@Shelly40, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Add the printer using Apple AirPrint drivers-
Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
Try to print.
With regards to scanning, refer to the document HP Printers - How to Scan (Mac) for help.

Thank you! This worked! I actually didn't have an "Air Print" option, but when I followed your steps, after clicking "use" I got a message that Apple has software for this printer, and I was able to download it. I was able to print in color as well as scan. I am so relieved that I don't have to buy a new printer.

Hello... Ever since I updated my operating system a week or so ago, my printer and computer have not been talking to each other. I keep getting an error message. I've noticed others have been having the same issue. Is there a fix? I've already tried to clear my printer and re-add it again, with no luck. HP Photosmart C4480
Thank you
