Product: C4580 All-in-One
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I'm running on a Mac OSCatalina 10.5.7.

I got this error today. I updated my OS to 10.5.7 and still got the same error. I deleted the printer from my printer setting and reinstalled HP software for my printer (C4580 Photosmart all-in-one) and still get the same error. What gives? Need a fix quick! Have a business to run.

The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...

 

Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!
