For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

Thanks DavidSMP.

The printer seems to have exceeded the warranty period.

Having always used original cartridges (14 black and 6 set of color) plus an additional 2 sets still purchased, overall costs have more than doubled the cost of printer when purchased.

Moreover, local HP service centre showed no interest or warranty to replace the printhead.

would it be worth to continue with HP printers from now onwards concerns me if a complex situation like this arises?

I have already supported HP a lots in terms of buying original cartidges everytime. What could be a solution ?

Never thought home based inkjet printers, that are randomly used, might be so cost intensive.

Thanks again.

Hi Mr. David SMP, I followed instructions as you advised. They again redirected me to the same service centre, but this time some senior staff looked into the case and replied diligently. Again, back to square one, they are helpless as the device was purchased in UAE. What worries me is the bundle of extra cartridges I purchased, as they cost much and I always believed in buying new ones, rather refilling them. I can forward you the email they have sent me. Somehow these limitations from HP have helped grey market to develop that I do not consider as a viable option due to reliability factor and money involved. What could you advise me further. Where should I take my printer now, just to make original and new black ink functional. Hope there could be some solution for me or no? Thanks.
