Hi, I've followed the instructions to update the firmware via USB. I followed it through to the reflash option and it came up with a green screen with 12345 on it. I wanted to check this is correct as it hasn't given any indication of doing an update.
Thanks.

Hi Vclay, I think your following the same process I was doing which is slightly wrong, when you get the blue screen with MFG, REFLASH, AUDIT, MENU, press MENU (NOT REFLASH). You then get a reflash option, just follow it from there. I think your pressing REFLASH first (which I was doing & got the same green screen).

Hi!
I have tried all the steps that have been suggested but unfortunately no results.
When I try to install the firmware via USB stick it gets stuck on "Verifying". I have changed several usbs (formatted and with just the .ful2 file), changed the usb port on the printer , tried different files (ful2) but it always gets stuck on "Verifiyng".
Is anyone able to help me?

Blairuachdair had put a copy of the Ful2 file in dropbox
Try using it. Make sure it is the only file on the USB

You can unistall the driver then restart the printer, downlad the driver from HP site then install it
during the installation select the option manual then select the TCP/IP to install the driver
This will solve the problem without the need to donwgrade the firmware of the printer

I had the same green screen issue. I think because I clicked REFLASH once in the secret menu, however you are supposed to select MENU and then DRIVE REFLASH.
ALSO I had my USB plugged into the port under the screen.
Problem solved.

I have a 377dw Printer, exactly the same issue. Freezing Firmwareupdate at 28.Septembre 2023.
I called the German HP Hotline. They gave me the previous firmwarefile.
I formatted the USB with fat32. Copy the file at the USB stick Put the USB Stick in the backwards USB port.
Then switch power. Switch off the printer. Hold the power buttom and switch on the energy. Hold the power buttom untill ih the Display a black screen appears. Left you can see the House, the "?" and the bakwards arrow .
Now press : House - backward arrow- hous - house
A Menu appers, select next untill "reflesh" appears. press "Yes"
The reflesh procedure will starting.
After this, the printer works.
But now set the firmware update "disable"
To get the reflesh file, you can use the steps in the commant down. Extracting from the Firmwraefile from the HP website. I used "WIN RAR " for this. Winzip and 7 zip dont working . Win Rar works.
