I recently moved from Switzerland to the USA with a printer that I bought in Switzerland. I'm trying to print documents but keep receiving the following error message:

-------------------------------

Cartridge or Account Issue

There is an issue with either the installed cartridges or your account payment method. You be unable to print until the issue is resolved.

For more details, check the printer control panel if it has one. Or sign in to your HP account at either hpsarmt.com or hpsmart.com/admin for information.

Typical causes of this issue:

-  Instant Ink subscription cartridges only work with an active subscription

- HP All-in-plan printers require an active subscription

-HP+. printer require original HP cartridges

------------------------------

I happens that when I try to change my information (subscription), it doesn't allow me to change countries from Switzerland to USA. Also, I can't find an option to delete my account in Switzerland so I can create a new account in the USA. The account is now locked in Switzerland and I just can't speak with a single human being that can solve my problem - what a horrible customer experience this has been!

Anyone can help me?

@Rb220, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm truly sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you've had. Moving internationally should be exciting, not complicated by technology – and we completely understand how inconvenient this has been.

I'm here to help get your printer back up and running as quickly as possible.

Instant Ink accounts are linked to the country/region of your HP account.

  • To change the country/region for a printer in Instant Ink, add the printer to a different HP account that is in the desired country/region.
  • Cancel the original Instant Ink account to prevent continued billing. Enrolling the printer in a new account does not automatically delete the old account.
  • HP Instant Ink Platinum or HP All-in Plan for Print: The service is only available within the continental United States. If you move out of the service area, your subscription is cancelled and you may be charged an early cancellation fee.
