I have recently updated my router through Comcast. My wifi printer would not work . Its a HP Deskjet 3772. Finally out of desperation (I'm not computer saavey) I - deleted the printer. Powered down computer. Turned on printer and fired up computer. It found the printer and I was off and running. Today I went to print a doc and now - It recognizes printer but won't print. It says it is not "installed". How would I "install"? Thank you for your help!

Hi @LokiBean,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the connection between your computer and printer needs to be re-established. Here's a step-by-step guide to reinstall your HP Deskjet 3772 printer.
- Uninstall the Printer Software: First, uninstall any existing printer software on your computer. You can usually do this by going to "Control Panel" (Windows) or "System Preferences" (Mac), then finding the list of installed programs or printers and selecting the HP Deskjet 3772 to uninstall it.
- Disconnect the Printer: Unplug the USB cable (if connected) from both the printer and the computer. If it's a wireless printer, make sure it's turned on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Restart Your Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
- Download and Install the Printer Software: Visit the HP support website (https://support.hp.com) and search for your printer model (HP Deskjet 3772). Download the latest drivers and software for your operating system.
- Follow Installation Instructions: Run the downloaded software and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the printer. Make sure to select the correct connection type (USB or wireless) when prompted.
- Connect the Printer: If it's a USB printer, connect the USB cable to both the printer and your computer. For wireless printers, ensure that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- Print a Test Page: Once the installation is complete, try printing a test page to ensure that the printer is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Aiden - I followed your instructions. They are the same that I've been trying. Now it seems that the issue is........ the drivers are no longer available for me to download. They worked just fine prior to Comcast changing out my router. All I want is to get my printer up and running. My system will not upgrade to Windows 11 and I can't afford a whole new system. I don't care if the drivers are supported. I just need to download them. I originally paid for them - for this computer and should be able to use it. Aiden - where can I go to get the drivers? Thank you!
