Operating System: macOS 26.0 Tahoe

I'm unable to add my printer to my HP support account. When I enter the serial number, it says it is not valid. I have entered it manually multiple times, re-checking it each time. I've also copy and pasted it from HP app.
The printer is also having a paper jam error, when there is no paper jam, and I'm trying to troubleshoot it on the HP Virtual Support. But I can't make progress there because it won't recognize my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus All-inOne printer.

It's too old  printer model.

Support serial number search makes old printers serial number not valid.

Thx. That’s surprising. Did HP forget that they made this printer? Or they just don’t want to support their own product? Either option reflects terribly on them.
