HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer

In the manual: https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07065742.pdf

I am currently on step 8.  I have already installed the software and have used the printer many times in the past.  I believe a power outage caused my printer to reset like this.  It currently shows the QR code on the screen and tells me to download the software.  I have the software downloaded, but cannot connect to the printer. My phone cannot find it with bluetooth, and the wifi indicator is off.  Additionally, I am unable to access the menu to connect it to wifi.  The only thing I can press is the question mark button, which instructs me to download the software before I move on.  This printer also does not have an ethernet port.  I am completely unable to continue with setup without these things.  I have already tried unplugging it, replugging it, and I have tried hard restarting it (holding the power button until it shuts off completely). How can I finish setup or bypass the menu?

If it was working before the power went out the problem is the Wi-Fi connection, not the drivers.

You may need to reset the printer: video here

Wi-Fi setup to router with smartphone (hp smart): video here

For Wi-Fi direct setup see page 34 click here.
Or watch this video.
This is useful if you do not have access to the router or you want to avoid using the router and print directly to the printer.

WPS pin for connecting to modem/router:

Press the setup button
Select Wi-Fi setup
Chose OK and scroll for the WPS PIN
Make a note of the WPS PIN code

This video might help but is it 8020 type.

Thank you for the response.  Unfortunately, I am unable to access the menu because I am unable to complete setup.  The wifi light is not blinking so I am unable to connect it to anything.  It does not allow me to move on until I connect the printer to wifi. The bluetooth is also not working for the printer.  So I am in a catch-22.

I cannot access the settings/menu for a reset until I have set up the printer.  I cannot set up the printer until I fix the wifi/bluetooth connection.  I cannot fix the wifi/bluetooth connection until I have set up the printer.

I am currently stuck on the qr code where it tells me to download the software and finish setup.

Unless you deleted the drivers from your PC or Mac, they are still on your system and there is no need to download them.  The drivers are only good for printing.

Step 8 mentions using the HP+ features.  Are you using those features?

HP+ is not a subscription service itself, but it includes a trial of HP Instant Ink, which is a subscription service for ink. HP+ offers various benefits like an extended warranty and exclusive features in the HP app, but the main perk is the included trial of Instant Ink. After the trial period, a monthly fee for Instant Ink will be charged automatically unless cancelled

Do not sign up for HP+ if you have no use for remote printing over the internet nor instant ink.

Were you able to reset the printer?  if there is a "lock icon" on the console display then try the hard reset mentioned here.  The article also discusses re-connecting to Wi-Fi.
