The printer does not accept or recognize the color cartridge that came with the new printer. It will not print the usual test page for new cartridges and will not scan and print. The printer will not respond to commands.

Can't complete setup. The color ink cartridge warning light is blinking. I have tried taking the color cartridge out and putting it back in several times. The printer will not print the usual new cartridge test page nor respond to any commands.
