I needed to reconnect my printer to WiFi and was having trouble. I contacted support thru the chat and was given step by step instructions. The printer is now asking for the setup ink cartridges to complete set up. I do not have them as I have used and replaced the ink many times on this printer, it is not new. The person in the chat was not understanding the problem, asking why I do not have the set up cartridges and did not help me. I currently have a printer I cannot use because I do not have setup cartridges. Any suggestions?

Hi @Megan157
- Important Note: This steps only works for
- Envy 6055e printer models.
Try with the following steps to reset cartridges:
1. Turn ON the printer
and open the lateral hatch access door to the cartridges, until it locks in place.
Keep it open.
2. Keep the door open and then press the Wireless button for 5 seconds.
- (You need to turn printer to back and press Wireless button).
3. After that close the hatch access door for the cartridges, press down the door.
- Then just wait at least 10 seconds for the printer to restart.
4. Now check that there are paper in the printer and send a document to Print.
