HI,

These printers are too clever for normal people.  Mine keeps shutting down during page 2 of a multi-page print job.  I have to pull the power cable out and in again and reboot everythime.

A post on this Community has siggested I change setting and remove Auto Off.  BUT i cannot even get there!!

Most of my settings are locked and i need a username and password.  I have never given the printer a username and passord!!

What do I do??

I've already thought about throwing the thing out of a window so dont bother suggesting that.  But if i do not get it sorted, it is definately going that way.  Whcih is a shame as its only 2 weeks old.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
