After three weeks I didn't use the printer, I received the massage that my Printer not connected. I have change the position of the USB cord and one faulty out of four. When I click the shortcut, the massage ask to run USBSetup.exe program to connect a new printer. Printer is not in the Device Manager but only in the Devices and Printer. I have tried to solve the problems by any forum and HP help but unsuccessful, please help.

I have done what the support need I to do.
First problem: I can't type using keyboard.
Solution: I change position of the port which two ports faulty out of four, then can type as usual.
Second problem: Printer can't connect with USB.
Solution: I change position of the port and follow instructions from HP support, problem not solve.
I check my computer at computer shop - OK
I check the USB cable - OK
The problem is USB at the printer, now under repair.
Now, I am thinking how two of the ports become faulty?????
Thanks to the forum and HP Supports.

I have download the program and tried so many times, the massage showing 'not connected'. In 'Devices and Printers" show HP Deskjet 1510 and software from www.hp.com/ePrint/DJ1510 according to the catalogue I received. Is it due to I am using HP Deskjet 1515? Second, the printer not in 'Device Manager'. Thanks.

Hi,
You would need to install the correct software for your printer.
The following resource will help you :
HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL50403/mp-150580-2/hppiw.exe
We'd recommend that you select the FULL feature software.
Thanks.
