Printer is giving me an error code 99.09.67 and reads disk is not bootable, please download firmware. I went to go support download the supposed correct firmware to a usb drive the printer will not recognize the usb drive whether it’s formatted to exFAT OR FAT32.

Have you run the system diagnostics from the preboot menu to ensure that the hard drive has not failed. 99 errors are often triggered by a failed drive. The readme file for the firmware update explains how to get into the preboot menu. From there go to administrator>diagnostics and run all tests. Note that there is a hard drive test and an EMMc test. Your system will have one or the other but not both so the one not present will fail. Keep in mind that if you have to replace the hard disk you must use an actual spinning disk and depending on the system you have you will most likely need an SED (self-encrypting) drive

The model I have is the PageWide Managed Color MFP E58650
I had the EMMC tests in diagnostics I ran everything and the only failed tests was for the Disk test failed and it says an eMMc device could not be located and check to make sure it is installed
I believe when trying to do a clean on this I mistakenly hit the format disk option and it says it will require a new install
