I'm about to lose all patience with this printer. The printer is fine, connects to my WiFi without issue but now will not print because it was removed from my HP account. Unfortunately when I try to add the device to my profile it comes back and tells me the serial number is invalid. The one I typed in from the printer, lol. I am caught up in the internet printing disaster that HP has created and I need to get out of it. In short, I want to start over, remove all signs any HP printers. I mean this HP site has printers registered that I haven't owned in years and won't let you remove them. If I sound frustrated I sure am. Somebody that understands all this please help.

My printer, the only one I've ever used, has been giving me similar problems. Btw, what's the difference between the network and internet connection? My printer seems to be connected to Wi-Fi, direct and I cannot for the sake of me, that I cannot seem to connect my Samsung phone or my Chromebook enough to actually print. I connected it in every other way except my 2 devices. I have printed from both already but just can't seem to get the printer to actually connect to one of those devices. The printer shows up on both devices, but the printer just won't connect to either. Any clues about what I might be missing? I've signed in to my hp app or apps, and got through that just to see the printer would not connect still. Trust I've been trying to connect for days now.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
