How do I print USPS standard postcards from my printer?  I have tried feeding the cards in from the tray and top, but doesn't work.  I have a narrative that I want to print on the cards.

Not all printers print on Post Cards.

The problem might be the size, the paper weight, or the printer might not like any "pre-printed" text or pictures on the card.

What else?  Printers do not like colored paper as a rule.

The first thing to do is to find out your printer model name.

Product Home

Enter the type and name of your HP device

Next,

Open the printer Home page > Open Category Product Information > Open the Specifications document

Read Section Paper Handling to determine whether the card is at all supported (size and weight).

If the mystery printer supports the paper size, paper type type, color (white), and paper weight,

If the printer's full feature / full driver printer software is installed,

Make sure the printer is aware of the paper loaded in the tray,

Select the correct settings in the software / application,

Check / Select the correct Shortcut for the current job, set other options, including which Tray is the "Source".
