I recently bought an HP Smart Tank 750. I wanted to try if I can print cheques using this new printer.
I am using the free check printer software Chrysanth Check Writer. I tried narrowing the paper guides to the center to fit the checks. It feeds the paper but it doesn't print.

Hi @Piiickles,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
There could be several reasons why your Smart Tank 750 is not printing on your Cheque even after narrowing the paper guides. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check the paper orientation: Make sure that you have loaded the check paper in the correct orientation. Typically, the checks should be loaded face down, with the top edge entering the printer first.
- Ensure the paper size is correct: Double-check that the paper size you have selected in the print settings matches the size of your checks.
- Check ink levels: Ensure that your printer has sufficient ink levels to print the checks. If the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges and try printing again.
- Clean the printhead: If the printhead is dirty or clogged, it can cause printing issues. You can clean the printhead by going to the printer maintenance settings.
- Check for software updates: Check for any software updates for your printer and install them. This can help fix any bugs or glitches that may be causing the problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
