Hello

 

I am trying to setup an MFP E87740 printer with no luck on a macbook - Sonoma 14.5. 

The wrapped drivers (HP_Easy_Start) do not work, the setup fails just before the end at the connecting to device stage. Please see the message below.

The setup starts fine and it can find the IP address of the printer, then it installs the software and drivers with no problem and at the final stage when is trying to connect to the printer, it fails.

 

Is there another way to install the drivers for this particular printer? There used to be an HP printer driver package but it is out of date. It does not include the drivers for the E87740dn printer. Does anyone know where can I find an up-to-date HP driver package?
