Problem installing 1010 deskjet to new Mac book

Up 1010 desk jet printer; set. # CN48P190HN. Just bought Mac book pro. Tried install cd, could not install. When I hit install it says it can’t find the printer usb. Apple does not carry this app in their App Store. My 1010 works perfect and never had issues with it.

This printer is not AirPrint compatible and has no printer driver available on the HP Support site to work on macOS 11 due to its age.

This printer does not support the HP Smart app too on a Mac.

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
