Hi @Amywild,

Thanks for sharing the details.

It sounds like you're going through a frustrating time with your HP DeskJet 2755e, especially after the effort of getting it to work before. I know how disheartening it can be when tech stops working just when you need it. But let’s tackle this together—I'll guide you through a couple of simple troubleshooting steps to help reconnect your printer:

Reconnect to Wi-Fi Network: Since you changed your internet’s name and had issues before, the printer may need to be reconnected to the new network.

  • On your printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button and Cancel button together for 3 seconds. This will reset the printer’s wireless settings.
  • Then, open the HP Smart app on your device and follow the prompts to add your printer again using the new Wi-Fi information.

Restart All Devices: Sometimes a fresh start helps everything sync back together.

  • Turn off your printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your router by unplugging it for about 15 seconds.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device. Once all devices are back on, check if your printer is found by the HP Smart app.

This should get things back on track. Let me know how it goes, and if the issue persists, we’ll dig deeper!
