I see that you're experiencing problems trying to use the ink cartridges from your old printer. I would be happy to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

 

Anytime you install Instant Ink cartridges in a printer, they are locked to that printer and can't be used in another printer.  Instant Ink cartridges have a feature enabled called "cartridge protection" which keeps others from being able to walk up to your printer and use your subscription cartridges.
