Are you trying to restore the Network Settings on the printer?

 

If Yes, then please try these steps

 

Press and hold the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

thanks for the reply but I'm trying to do a factory reset on my hp deskjet 2700.

Please try these steps

 

1. Turn the printer off. Disconnect the power cable from the printer for 30 seconds and then reconnect.

2. Turn the printer on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on. Release the Resume button.
