Hi @Donny07

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To set up your HP Envy 6020e printer and connect it to Wi-Fi, you’ll need the Wi-Fi password for your network. Here are a few ways to find it:

1. Check Your Router

  • Look at the back or bottom of your router; many routers have a sticker that lists the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

2. Access Router Settings

  • You can log into your router's web interface using a web browser:
    • Enter the router's IP address (usually something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) in the address bar.
    • Log in with the admin credentials (often found on the router or in the manual).
    • Navigate to the wireless settings to find the Wi-Fi password.

3. Check Connected Devices

  • If you have a device (like a smartphone or computer) already connected to the Wi-Fi, you can view the saved password:
    • Windows: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network and Sharing Center > Your Wi-Fi Network > Wireless Properties > Security > Show characters.
    • Mac: Open Keychain Access, find your Wi-Fi network, and view the password (you may need to enter your Mac password).

4. Reset the Router (if necessary)

  • If you can’t find the password and have access to the router, you can reset it to factory settings, which will set the Wi-Fi password back to the default (check the router for this information).

5. Use the HP Smart App

  • If you have the HP Smart app installed on your smartphone or tablet, you can use it to connect your printer to Wi-Fi. The app will guide you through the process, including entering your Wi-Fi password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
